Sports activities

Walk, ride, fly, climb... Chamonix is not limited to its double title of “World Capital of Mountaineering” in summer and “Queen of extreme skiing” in winter. For there a thousand and one ways to enjoy sports here, throughout all the seasons, at your own pace and to suit your own taste, with or without moderation...Here comes the sun, so get out your sports shoes ! Chamonix Valley has 350 km of hill-walking paths, a multitude of mountaineering routes and countless rock climbing routes. But that's not all!
Mountain-biking enthusiasts will find routes suitable for all levels, from a family outing to the steepest climbs!

From a beginner's lesson to a tandem flight, paragliding will help you to realise your dream of flying!

Water is also a fabulous playground, so, if you are attracted by the coolness of mountain streams, try canyoning, whitewater rafting or hydrospeed (also known as riverboarding).
Another water sport is fishing in mountain lakes with a fishing guide
If the words green, swing, bunker and club are part of your vocabulary, you will appreciate the Les Praz 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, which delights the most demanding players.
The "Cani-rando" : to discover an unusual nature where the dog will be your most faithful friend.
The Richard Bozon sports centre and its numerous activities – with its swimming pool, skating rink, body-building room, climbing wall, and tennis and squash courts – are open to you all year round...

The Paint Ball organises parties daily throughout the year on reservation: 06 07 36 01 51.
The snow is falling... there's no time to lose, it's time for skiing ! All disciplines are available, for all levels:
skiing and snowboarding on fine, well packed-down ski slopes or on the famous off-track skiing routes of the Mont Blanc chain,
cross-country skiing for endurance or for a pleasant leisurely exploration of our snowy forests.
The most advanced skiers fit sealskin on their skis to go ski-touring far off the way-marked tracks.

Hill-walkers wear snowshoes and set out to explore the white frosted expanses of nature. If you dream of the trapper's life, then try a dog-sledding taster.

The sky's the limit:
In the air : paragliding, between the sky and the snow : speed riding, a discipline to discover!
