Brévent cable car
From Chamonix: first a gondola to Planpraz at 2000m, then a cable car to Le Brévent at 2525m. Here you'll enjoy 360° panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc chain.
In summer, Planpraz is the starting point for many wonderful escapades, including Lac Cornu and the Grand Balcon Sud. It also offers a superb launch area for paragliders.
From the Brévent summit, a path leads in summer to the Aiguillette des Houches via the Bel-Lachat refuge.
The Brévent slabs, facing Mont Blanc, form a pleasant, quiet climbing site just a 5-minute walk from the top of the cable car, .
In summer, as in winter, take advantage of the beautiful sunny terraces for a moment of tranquillity and contemplation!
Eating and drinking: in Planpraz, "La Bergerie" offers traditional cuisine and fast food, while in Le Brévent, "Le Panoramique" offers meals and a unique panoramic view of the Mont-Blanc chain.
